WELCOME!
To the very first Throwdown Thursday Podcast website post! We are ecstatic to finally have such a site to show you! There are several changes being made to our show, mainly from a technical standpoint, but we want to stress that what we do and how we do it will NOT be changing. We will still be the same show we’ve always been, just with more associated media.
First off, we are no longer using Buzzsprout or Podbean (or any other hosting site) as we have switched to Pinecast. Rest assured, this is a good thing! Pinecast will allow us to do things we’ve been talking about but haven’t been able to do. This may cause some initial problems because we’re in the process of updating our RSS feed (how the show gets distributed for those of you who are unfamiliar) and it might require listeners to re-subscribe to the show on their favorite platforms, especially Spotify.
Secondly, the reasoning behind all of this is that we have recently joined The Dorkening Podcast Network! We are excited to be a part of such an incredible network with some highly esteemed podcasts and podcasters (be sure to check them out below). This will be nothing but a positive change for us and we can’t wait to take you all along for the ride!
Lastly, we have some amazing things planned for the future and throwdownthursdaypodcast.com will be your one-stop shop for everything Throwdown Thursday – including upcoming guests, news, updates, and more! You can check out the Twitter feed, YouTube channel, latest episodes, Patsy’s articles, and Patsy & Ashes’ social media! Twitch stream coming soon!
